Why?

Because. Because it would stand as a testament to both the subtle and overt, the high and the low. It would serve as an example of both genius, and simplicity. Once conceived, it had to be done. It was an idea who's time had come, and who's utterance could be suppressed no longer, neither avoided , nor ignored.
