Demolition

For me, there is something a little bit sad about watching old houses being demolished. The stories of the people and families that lived there are that much more distant, perhaps lost, as they are no longer connected to the place that was once a home. People can no longer pass by and say "I grew up there" or "That's where my father or grandmother lived."
